I have had the privilege to serve our district on the Board of Education for 7 years. I was chosen by my peers to be Board Vice President for 2 years and President for 2 years.

Continued student academic achievement and growth
Virtual and face to face learning models offered during the 2020-2021 school year due to Covid
Team Sycamore keeping all schools open during Covid
Successful passage of operating levy in 2016
Bond levy passage in 2019 and current construction of 2 new schools, a new wing at Symmes, and renovation at the high school
Development of Strategic Plan to chart the long term vision of the district
Contract with the Community to limit expenditure growth to no more than 2.5% for 7 years (excluding Covid expenditures)
Extending the operating levies beyond our commitment to the community
55 countries represented and 30 languages spoken
Mental health partnership with Cincinnati Children’s to provide in school counselors
Best communities for music 12 years straight
Auditor Award of Distinction 9 years
